Upper age limit of Cook cum Helpers working under Mid Day Meal

Scheme has been fixed as 60 year with immediate effect ie Cook cum Helpers working

under Mid Day Meal Scheme can work till the age of 60 year,

योजना को तत्काल प्रभाव से 60 वर्ष के लिए नियत किया गया है

मिड डे मील योजना के तहत 60 वर्ष की आयु तक काम कर सकते हैं,

अन्य पद और शर्तें समान रहेंगी

According to DSE letter dated 05.02.2013 cook age between 22 to 50 years. After crossing age 50 years cook cum helper can be discharge but according to letter dated 04.10.2013 cook can not be terminated only on the basis of age ground.. 

Other way to discharge cooks are

• Medical ground- if NOC not provide.
• Cook food unhygienic manner.
• Not wash MDM utensils( bartan) properly.
• Misconduct.
• Not join after maternity leave of 3 month.
• Not cook according to norms.
